FIU Panthers vs. Kansas Jayhawks

Not much went wrong for head coach Mark Mangino’s Jayhawks a year ago, and they’ll look to come out in tonight’s NCAA football betting affair against the Florida International Panthers and prove that last year wasn’t a fluke. KU’s dream season of a year ago saw them go 12-1 SU for the first time in the program’s history and pick up a BCS bowl win when they upended the Virginia Tech Hokies in the Orange Bowl by a 24-21 final count as 3.5-point underdogs.

The Jayhawks set a school record for victories and Mark Mangino was named AP Coach of the Year, but reaching a second consecutive BCS bowl will be difficult as they face a much tougher schedule this time around. It hasn’t been easy being a Panthers fan the last couple years as head coach Mario Cristobal’s squad has managed just one win in the L/24 times they’ve taken the field. That said; they finished the year off in style by upending the North Texas Mean Green to end the nations longest losing streak at 23.
