NASCAR on Thursday suspended crew
chief Glenn Darrow indefinitely for violating its substance
abuse policy. Garrow, crew chief for Tony Raines' Nextel Cup
car, was tested for banned substances last Saturday at Talladega
Superspeedway. The results were positive, leading to an automatic
suspension. NASCAR did not identify the substance and several
series officials did not immediately return phone messages
left Thursday.
Garrow becomes the second person suspended
by NASCAR this season for failing a substance abuse test.
Now that is funny. I'm surprised this doesn't happen more
often in Nascar. How do these drivers, crew chiefs and other
redneck degenerates NOT test positive for something every
week? This is Nascar right? Aren't all these redneck doing
something illegal every week? I think now I've seen/heard
it all. In any case redneck racing fans I guess your all going
to have to go Hunting this weekend since there is no race
on. After taking part in the Banquet 400, the drivers of the
Nextel Cup Series continue the Chase in the UAW-GM Quality
500 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway on October 15. The race
at Lowe’s will be the fifth of 10 Chase events.
