Hot Teacher Gets Probation for Sex With Underage Boy - In a deal that is sure to make for some interesting Thanksgiving Day dinner conversation, one of the hottest teachers ever involved with an underage boy Debra Lafave struck a plea bargain this week that will spare her jail time. The young blonde, who her attorney once said was "too pretty" for jail, gets three years of probation. The family asked prosecutors to offer Lafave a deal. They did not want the teen to sit through the deposition. They did not want him to testify at trial. They did not want to wait two years for the resolution of similar charges in Marion County. In a deal that includes three years of house arrest and seven years of sex-offender probation - a deal that has people across the country questioning whether a man would have received similar treatment - Lafave pleaded guilty Tuesday morning to two charges of lewd and lascivious battery.

Arbitrator Richard Bloch upheld the Philadelphia Eagles' four-game suspension of Owens for conduct detrimental to the team. He stated that the team has the right to keep Owens on the inactive list for the remainder of the season. The arbitration hearing for the controversial wide receiver was held last Friday and lasted 14 hours. Eagles coach Andy Reid cited 11 incidents in which Owens' conduct was detrimental to the team during the hearing.

The Eagles will now look to trade or release Owens before next March, when he's due a $5-million US roster bonus.
