Heisman Trophy-winning tailback Reggie
Bush was honored Tuesday night as the most
valuable player for top-ranked Southern California.
Bush also won the MVP award as a sophomore last
season despite the fact that teammate Matt Leinart
won the Heisman. Bush was fifth in that voting
a year ago. Bush and Leinart have played major
roles in USC's 34-game winning streak. The Trojans
(12-0) can win an unprecedented third straight
national championship by beating No. 2 Texas in
the Rose Bowl on Jan. 4.

What a gutsy call. What a perfectly placed
pass. It set up USC’s 34-31 last-second
