Big Ben Crashes Bike

Ben Roethlisberger, the starting quarterback for the Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers, was injured this morning after being involved in a motorcycle crash. Roethlisberger, who has stated previously that he does not wear a helmet when he rides because it is not required by Pennsylvania law, was apparently not wearing one when he collided with an automobile around 11.30am in downtown Pittsburgh.

Initial reports are indicating that his head made contact with the windshield of the car, causing a broken jaw and head lacerations (they also state he injured a knee) but that his injuries aren't life-threatening. It was later reported that he underwent surgery and is presently in serious but stable condition at a Pittsburgh hospital. All our thoughts are with Big Ben at this time; we wish you a speedy recovery, my man.
