Seahawks Locklear Will Play On Sunday

Apparently if your from Seattle its ok to beat up your girlfriend the week of the NFC Conference Championships. However Locklear has been "bailed out" by the Hawks as they want their starting right tackle for this weeks game against the Panthers. Wednesday morning, Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren said in an interview with Seattle radio station KIRO that Locklear would play in Sunday's NFC championship game against the Carolina Panthers. Seattle Seahawks starting right tackle Sean Locklear has pleaded innocent to assault and is free without bail following an initial court appearance. At the hearing Tuesday in a King County Jail courtroom, Municipal Court Judge Edsonya Charles ordered Locklear to have no contact with his girlfriend, who lives with him. He also must abstain from alcohol and other drugs while the case is pending.
