For starters I'm NOT a fan of bowling. I think their stupid little social bowling leagues belong in towns like Knoxville or Wichita. What a joke this sport is? These guys actually think they are athletes too right? Well this next little diddy just proves my opinion right.

Ed Lorenz, an avid bowler at age 69, rolled a 300 game at his favorite Kalamazoo, Mich., lanes, and dropped dead minutes later. It was the third perfect score for Lorenz but midway though in the next game he clutched his chest and collapsed. Efforts to revive him failed, the Kalamazoo Gazette said. BOWLERS AREN'T SMART!!!

"If he could have written a way to go out, this would be it,'' said Johnny Masters, who was bowling with Lorenz in the Schoolcraft Miller Lite League.

Perhaps it wouldn't of been his time if he didn't bowl 6 nights a week, pound back a 6pack of Old Milwaukee every night and smoke 3 packs a day???!!!!

Our winner for JACKASS of the day award this week goes to Maurice Clarett. What was he thinking? Holding up 2 people behind a bar at 2am in C-Bus? Cmon Maurice. Weren't you supposed to get up early the next day to go try out for NFL Europe or something??

Maurice Clarett would've been a senior at Ohio State this season had he stayed with the Buckeyes, likely a key member of a team that just won its third Fiesta Bowl in four years. Instead of joining the day-after celebration with teammates Tuesday, Clarett appeared in court in handcuffs to face charges of robbing two people with a gun in an alley behind a bar. Clarett, wearing jail-issue clothing, did not speak as bond was set at $50,000 by Franklin County Municipal Judge Amy Salerno. Clarett will have to post 10% of the amount.

Clarett was wanted since early Sunday, when police said he flashed a gun and demanded property from a man and a woman behind the Opium Lounge in downtown Columbus. The latest news from ESPN is he pleaded not guilty
